TONECAT BRUTUS Overdrive Pedal
The TONECAT BRUTUS Overdrive Pedal delivers a gritty, lively guitar tone with plenty of bite and character. It responds to how hard you play, moving from a light edge of breakup to a thick, punchy overdrive as you dig in. With a powerful three band EQ and great volume cleanup, BRUTUS is a flexible choice for players who want raw, responsive drive without losing the feel of their guitar.
TONECAT BRUTUS Overdrive Pedal Review
TONECAT BRUTUS uses a two stage soft clipping design that gradually adds more drive as your playing gets harder. At lower gain settings, it offers an open and touch sensitive Bluesbreaker style response. Push the gain and it moves toward a fuller, mid focused Klon style voice, then becomes tighter and more compressed at higher settings. Its active Bass, Middle, and Treble controls provide boost and cut, while the post EQ boost stage helps keep your output strong when making EQ cuts. The Gain control also provides up to +20 dB of variable preamp gain.
