I have been playing guitar for 32 years. I used to have a very large guitar pedal collection. Most of them I sold and forgotten. I have even built my own pedals.
The Melon Cube is the most fun pedal I've played with in a very long time. This is especially true in the category of fuzz/distortion. There are millions of fuzz and distortion pedals, most of them don't sound too different from one another. The Melon Cube is very unique sounding. On top that you can dial in many different tones/voices.
Affordable, unique, and versatile. Can't ask for much more.
This is really an amazing drive pedal. I can get just about any drive. tone I like. The only issue is I have to remember what each one is and adjust it for the respective sound. I am looking for great pedal on this next version if it had MIDI to remember presets that would be incredible. Really an awesome pedal.

Speaker cabinet arrived sooner than expected, has been unpacked and hooked up to my Hiwatt amp. Sounds great. Will be giving it a workout at a band rehearsal this weekend. My wife is thrilled as she considers this to be my mini-me David Gilmour rig. DeathCloud came through and I'm happy as a flying wombat!
I bought this to use with a new 200w amp I bought, I had been using two vintage 30 equipped 2x12s… and sounded like a dying goose. From the second I plugged it and turned it on, it was beautiful. Very tight and responsive. I also tried it with my Orange OR15, which I was thinking of selling, because it did sound good to me at all. With this cab, it was a completely different animal. Sounds amazing, I’m probably going to be another one soon.
