The Maneco Labs Grone Drone 2 Synthesizer Pedal is packed with hands-on controls that let you shape everything from deep drones to chaotic noise walls. Here’s what each knob, switch, and jack does.

Drone VCO Section

Algorithm: Selects one of 16 sound equations that define the core character of the drone. Four LEDs display the selected equation in binary form.
Variables A0, A1, and A2: These three controls change the numbers used by the equation. Adjusting them reshapes the tone and pitch in unique and sometimes unpredictable ways.
Sample Rate: This knob controls the oscillator's pitch and speed. Lower settings create slower, deeper tones. Higher settings push it into sharper, more intense territory.
EXP 2 Input: Expression jack for controlling the oscillator sample rate in real time.

Noise Generator

Noise Level: Adjusts the volume of the white noise that blends with the drone signal.

Filter Section

Cut Frequency: Sets the brightness or darkness of the sound by adjusting the filter cutoff point
Resonance: Boosts the filter peak for sharper, more pronounced tones. Higher settings can create aggressive, screaming textures.
