Hiwatt DR88 Custom Guitar Amplifier Head
The Hiwatt DR88 Custom Guitar Amplifier Head delivers huge, clear valve-driven power with plenty of room to shape your tone. Its 100W design gives you the punch and volume needed for the stage, while the Normal and Brilliant channels let you move from sparkling clean tones to rich, warm overdrive. It is also a great choice for bass, baritone guitars, keyboards, and other instruments.
Hiwatt DR88 Custom Guitar Amplifier Head Review
Built around Hiwatt's classic late 1960s circuit design, the DR88 uses two KT88 output valves for its distinctive character and impressive headroom. The hand-wired construction follows Dave Reeves' original design, with Partridge spec English transformers and a rugged birch-ply cabinet. The two channels can be used separately or linked together for extra punch and control. A transparent Post-Phase Inverter Master Volume also lets you bring out power amp overdrive at lower volume levels.
