Hiwatt Custom Filter Fuzz Pedal Review
The Filter Fuzz uses an all analog circuit based on Hiwatt's original design approach, with extended gain and frequency range. Its three way rotary filter switch provides three low cut options that can create mid focused, punchy, lo fi, gated, spitting, and even octave like effects. The Thick control works before the fuzz circuit, letting you shape the low end before adding saturation. An internal bias trim also allows the circuit to move between clearer tones and more gated, spitting responses.
