EarthQuaker Easy Listening Stereo Analog Amp Simulator Pedal

The EarthQuaker Devices Easy Listening Stereo Analog Amp Simulator gives you the rich feel of a classic tube amp without the size, noise, or hassle. Whether you're practicing with headphones, recording without an amp, or building a compact pedalboard, this pedal delivers warm, natural tone anywhere you play. With simple controls and true stereo operation, it's an easy way to enjoy an inspiring guitar sound at home, in the studio, or on stage.

EQD Easy Listening Review

The EarthQuaker Devices Easy Listening Stereo Analog Amp Simulator is built for players who want the feel and response of a great tube amp without carrying extra gear or dealing with complicated digital settings. It's a fully analog circuit that delivers warm, dynamic tone with zero latency, making every note feel natural under your fingers.

Unlike many modern direct recording solutions, there are no menus to navigate, no software to update, and no impulse responses to load. Simply connect your pedals, plug in your headphones or recording system, and start playing. The built-in analog speaker cabinet simulation adds depth and realism, giving your guitar a polished, amp-like sound whether you're practicing quietly or recording directly into an interface.

This stereo version takes everything players loved about the original Easy Listening and expands its capabilities. With dual 1/4 inch inputs and balanced XLR outputs, it's an excellent choice for stereo pedalboards and modern recording setups.

Even if you use only a mono signal, the pedal automatically creates a spacious stereo image, making your tone sound as if it were played through two separate amplifiers. The active three-band EQ makes it easy to fine-tune your sound with dedicated Bass, Middle, and Treble controls, allowing you to quickly adapt to different guitars, pedals, and playing styles.

The Easy Listening Stereo also shines as the final pedal in an ampless rig. It provides plenty of clean headroom, so everything from vintage overdrives and fuzz pedals to high-gain distortion retains its character without becoming muddy or compressed. The dedicated Aux input makes practicing more enjoyable by allowing you to connect a music player or backing tracks, while the high-quality headphone output delivers detailed sound for silent sessions at home or backstage.

Whether you're building a travel-friendly pedalboard, recording direct in the studio, or simply looking for a reliable way to practice without disturbing others, the EarthQuaker Devices Easy Listening Stereo Analog Amp Simulator delivers professional performance in a compact, easy-to-use package.

EarthQuaker Devices Easy Listening Stereo Controls

Level

The Level knob adjusts the volume of the Easy Listening Stereo Analog Amp Simulator. Use it to set a comfortable headphone level or match the output when connecting to a mixer, audio interface, or other recording equipment.

Auxiliary

The Auxiliary control sets the volume of the connected Aux input. This lets you balance backing tracks, songs, or practice audio with your guitar signal for an enjoyable playing experience. The Aux input bypasses the preamp and speaker cabinet simulation.

Bass

The Bass control boosts or cuts low frequencies up to 500 Hz. Turn it up for a fuller, warmer sound, or reduce it to tighten your tone and remove unwanted low-end.

Middle

The Middle control adjusts frequencies between 500 Hz and 2 kHz. Increase it to help your guitar stand out in the mix or reduce it for a smoother, more scooped sound.

Treble

The Treble control boosts or cuts frequencies above 2 kHz. Raise it for added clarity and sparkle, or turn it down to soften bright pickups and reduce harshness.
