Inspired by the success of the Carl Martin Quattro, Carl Martin set out to create a versatile and high-quality solution tailored for acoustic performances: the Acoustic GiG. This device features an award-winning compressor/limiter circuit, allowing users to adjust compression and level settings easily. It also includes a renowned Vintage Style Echo, equipped with controls for level, tone, repeat, and tap-tempo, as well as a special ‘Dotted 8th Note’ switch for enriched musical echoes. Additionally, the Acoustic GiG boasts a new Analog/Digital Hybrid Reverb that mimics vintage spring reverbs, providing a warm, shimmering sound that can transform into a modulation texture at higher settings.

Further enhancing its functionality, the Acoustic GiG offers a clean Boost feature, delivering up to 15dB of volume increase without altering tone, making it ideal for solos. It also includes a semi-parametric EQ from Carl Martin’s acclaimed 3 Band Parametric Pre-Amp for precise tonal shaping. To combat feedback, a Phase Shift switch is integrated, along with a built-in tuner and mute switch. The back panel features essential connections, including a 1/4” input and output, balanced XLR out with ground lift, an insert section for additional effects, and a 9V DC input, making the Acoustic GiG a comprehensive tool for acoustic musicians.
