The new Dark Star Stereo includes stereo input and output, on-board presets, trails, expression control over all parameters, and MIDI control for both parameters and presets. It also combines all the pitch shifting, bit crushing, and delayed effects into a single mode, eliminating the need for a three-mode toggle. New shapers like Filter, Multiply, Volume, and Spread provide additional versatility and new sound combinations.

- Instead of a 3 way Mode selection, there are controls for every parameter accessible simultaneously
- Both Pitch controls go from -2 Octaves to +2 Octaves
- Additional sound shaping controls including Filter, pre-delay Lag, feedback Multiply, Volume, and Spread
- Onboard Presets and via MIDI
- Stereo input and output are available, with the option for mono or mono-in-stereo-out routing
