EarthQuaker Devices Silos Pedal
The Silos Multi-Generational Time Reflection Device is a tri-voice delay that combines digital, analog, and tape delay into one compact and powerful pedal. Moreover, it includes tap tempo, user-assignable expression control, and the capability to save and recall six presets, making it highly customizable and user-friendly. It's as if you have three classic pedals combined into one! This means you can free up space on your pedalboard and never have to agonize over which individual delay to use again.
Each of the three modes offers up to one second of delay time. Turning the dial from noon back to zero gives you 500 milliseconds of delay, which has its own unique character. Moving from 500 milliseconds to one second creates a completely different sound. Adjust the settings for shorter delay times to enhance the atmosphere and add vibes. Increase the delay for rhythmic effects, perfect for strumming and adding extra ambiance to your riffs.
Each of the three delay modes is uniquely different and offers its own unique character when selected.
Mode D: Digital Delay - This mode offers bright repeats that remain strong as they decay. Shorter settings give you a bold stuttering staccato sound, while longer settings give you ambiance with longer repeats.
Mode A: Analog Delay - This mode is very mid-focused with faster diminishing repeats and dark and murky build ups. Boasting a big presence without low end throb or overpowering high end, this works equally well with a clean signal or distortion.
Mode T: Tape Delay - Reminiscent of an oil can delay, this mode pairs beautifully with distortion and is highly responsive to your attack. Roll it on for everything from dark undertones to atmospheric terrains.
EarthQuaker Devices Silos Pedal Features
- Presets: Silos has six available preset slots for you to save and recall your favorite settings. The settings for each of the three controls, the mode switch, and the expression jack assignment can be saved and recalled in any of the slots.
- Operating Modes: Silos has two operating modes which are indicated by the color of the Save/Recall switch LED. In Live mode, the pedal will operate exactly where the controls are set and any changes will have no effect on the presets unless saved. In Preset mode, stored presets, including expression pedal mapping, are selected using the Preset switch, and the physical settings of the controls will be ignored.
- Expression Control: Use any TRS expression pedal to take control over the Time, Repeats, or Level! Silos ships with the EXP jack mapped to the Repeats control.

- Mode Toggle: Toggles between Digital Delay, Analog Delay, and Tape Delay
- Time: This sets the delay time from 0-1 Second
- Repeats: This controls the regeneration of the delay signal. This mode does not self-oscillate in Digital Mode but begins to self-oscillate at 3 o’clock in Analog and Tape Modes.
- Mix: Adjusts the level of the delay signal.
- Preset: Six available preset slots for you to save and recall your favorite settings. The settings for each of the three controls, the Mode switch and the expression jack assignment can be saved and recalled in any of the slots.

- Buffered bypass featuring Flexi-Switch® Technology with tails: This device features Flexi-Switch® Technology! This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.
- For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass.
- For momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you’d like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.
- Since the switching is relay based, it requires power to pass signal.
