Dirty Haggard Audio Gnarled Pedal
This distortion pedal uses an opamp-based hard-clipping method with a boosted clean-blend that enhances low-end clarity. It also features a high-filter control that can either increase or reduce aggressive high frequencies and a gain control that can produce mild overdrive or screaming distortion. Despite the amount of distortion, it retains all low frequencies, even for 5-string or low-tuned bass/guitars. It can produce loads of attack and clarity when used with bass or add high-midrange aggression when used with guitar. Additionally, it has a gentle noise gate in the distortion circuit only, which keeps the noise floor super low. Lastly, it can be used as just a full-frequency boost if needed.
