Who is Vox?
Vox is a world-famous music gear company based in Dartford, England, known for shaping the sound of rock and roll for more than six decades.

The brand builds a wide range of products including iconic guitar amplifiers, expressive effects pedals, and uniquely designed electric guitars. From classic tones that defined the 1960s to cutting-edge gear for today’s players, Vox continues to inspire musicians everywhere with its timeless sound and innovative designs.
History of Vox
Vox was founded in 1957 by Dick Denney and Jennings Musical Instruments (JMI) in England. Denney, a guitarist himself, wanted to create amplifiers that could keep up with the growing power of electric guitars.

In 1958, Vox released the AC1/15, which later evolved into the legendary AC15. Soon after came the AC30, an amplifier that powered the British Invasion and became the choice of artists like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
Throughout the 1960s, Vox pushed boundaries not only with amps but also with groundbreaking guitar designs like the Phantom and Mark VI, as well as revolutionary products such as the Wah-Wah pedal.

Now owned by Korg, Vox continues to build gear that blends vintage character with modern features, staying true to its roots while meeting the needs of today’s musicians.
